When we were called by the client we found a very tired and outdated property with lots of potential.

 

The brief was extensive. We were not only asked to design a ground floor extension and a piggyback loft extension, but also to redesign all three floors in order to achieve a five-bedroom and four-bathroom house.

 

Reorganising the space on all three storeys,  enlarging cramped rooms, and incorporating new south-facing openings in order to bring plenty of sunlight were the main tasks for achieving an elegant, airy, and well-lighted dream home.
